After playing Varsity Golf for 2 years in High School in Glenview,
Illinois, Brad attended Arizona State University to study Architecture.
His passion for golf led him to his first golf position at Wilmette Golf
Club. There
he learned that there was a golf program called the Professional Golf
Management Program (PGM) offered at Ferris State University in Big
Rapids, Michigan. Brad attended this program and graduated with a BA in
Marketing and a PGA Professional Designation. Brad
started his PGA Professional career at Evanston Golf Club under the
then Illinois Golf Professional of the Year, Hal Miller. Brad developed
his teaching methods from PGA Champion Johnny Revolted, who was the
professional emeritus at Evanston Golf Club. After
4 years at Evanston Golf Club Brad moved over to the First Assistant
position at Turnberry Country Club in Lakewood, Illinois.
His next opportunity arose at Wynstone Golf Club in Barrington,
Illinois. Here Brad spent one summer studying under acclaimed teacher
Jim McLean. Brad's next stop was Charlotte, North Carolina where he
landed the position of Assistant PGA Professional
at Myers Park Country Club. Over the next 8 years, he grew his lesson
base to over 500 students and helped develop the "Stars" Junior Golf
Program. Next, Brad accepted the position as the Head PGA Teaching
Professional at Golf Galaxy, in Charlotte. Using a
3-camera indoor teaching studio he taught students using the V1
Coaching Software. Currently, Brad is the Lead Instructor at Skybrook
Golf Club in Huntersville, North Carolina.
